Server

Port

6697. Note that SSL is mandatory, even though some people think it's pointless. Our certificate is provided by Let's Encrypt.

Server password

You need to supply a server password in order to connect. Please get in touch and I'll send you one the same day.

Channel

Most people lurk in # to chat. It acts as the lobby.

Elsewhere

• You can add tracks to the Spotify playlist, for channel meets, discos and raves.
• You can join the Strava club, if you like running or cycling.

Clients

To connect, you will need to obtain an IRC client for your computer.

For Linux, try

irssi, HexChat, WeeChat.

For Windows, try

HexChat.

For Mac, try

Colloquy, Textual, XChat Azure.

For iOS, try

Colloquy, Igloo, Mutter, Palavar.

Then, set up a new connection as described above.

If there is sufficient interest, irc.tf will offer its users ZNC bouncers.
